Album Cover Research

From doing these deconstructions of existing album covers I have decided for my album cover to have my lead performer on the front looking out into the audience to engage with them and to attract them to the album. I got this idea because I have seen that many album covers of the same genre have either a single artist or the band on the front so people can recognise them. I think this will be an effective idea because people will see Daniel's face on the front and if they recognised him already and know he is a good artist they will want to listen to his new songs and buy his new album.

First Sneak Peek of Our Music Video

This is the start of our filming for our music video.  We have got a few nice shots in here for example the shot where Dan is walking through the arch where you can see out to sea. Also the shots where he is looking out to sea looking sad sum up the storyline.

Preliminary filming with voiceover

This is our preliminary filming in which we are just practising a variation of shots so we can get to see what it's like. It also helped us to get used to iMovie and the other equipment we will need to use to edit  and to see what flows well.
It was also very useful to see what it's like to film all these different shots and see what they look like straight away and see if they are good enough shots.
